Season Greetings to all of you,
I hope this greeting finds you all well and blessed of the Lord.
First, let me say thank you to all of the officers of the Rockford and Vicinity District Association. All of your dedication and hard work this past year is greatly appreciated.
We have accomplished great things in our first year of service, certainly with the help of God. Thank you also to all of the pastor’s and teachers that have worked so hard encouraging your people to come out and those that taught, being prepared every month to help our people grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ.
It will continue to be our focus to move our District forward and always looking to forge ahead in the area of technology. We have a website and a new Facebook page where we are offering hybrid classes. You can attend both virtually and in person.
Our theme for this year was “Labors Together with God “United in Our Purpose”. There was no better display of that spirit when all of the District churches and members came together to be a blessing for our sister church, the United Faith Baptist Church. Thank you to all who made that time of fellowship possible.
To Sis Tiffany and to all of the district musicians, those who sang in the choir and to Rev. Rodney Hayes, you all brought a very timely message on that evening, we say again thanks.
Finally, I thank God for all of you and I look forward to the great things God has in store for us this New Year.
Again, I want to thank all of the Rockford and Vicinity Baptist District Association for the love gifts that you have blessed me and my family with.
